Drive is proud to be the official media partner for the 2025 Melbourne Motor Show.

The upcoming 2025 Melbourne Motor Show has confirmed that household marques like Kia, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Isuzu, Peugeot and MG will be exhibited, allowing customers to browse multiple models on one floor.

In addition, up-and-coming new brands in Australia, like Foton, JAC, Deepal, and Mahindra, will also have a presence, as will high-end metal from Porsche and McLaren—the latter via the Zagame-owned McLaren Melbourne outlet.

However, the return of the Melbourne Motor Show won’t just offer new-car buyers an opportunity to cross-shop, as a heavy aftermarket presence will also be on-hand to keep enthusiasts entertained.

Melbourne Motor Show managing director Craig Phinn previously told Drive the new event is shaping up to be more akin to SEMA [Speciality Equipment Market Association], one of the automotive world’s largest trade shows.

“It’s going to be OEM [original equipment manufacturer] backed, so all the OEMs are going to be in the middle with their new release cars, so they’ll probably be about 40 to 50 per cent of the show,” Phinn said.

“Then around the outside of the other 25,000 square metres is the aftermarket, lifestyle and culture.

“A real blend of both built show cars and famous cars throughout the years, mixed with the newest electric and ICE [internal combustion engine] cars coming.”

To that end, attendees will see stalls from Shannons Insurance, Bendix, Garrett Turbos, Haltech, Lenso Wheels, DTM Garage, Drift Academy, and dozens more.

Melbourne Motor Show has also locked in Fire Rescue Victoria, the Victoria Police Force, and the Australian Defence Force to showcase the latest from their respective portfolios of highly specialised vehicles.

Tickets are now available through the Melbourne Motor Show website, with general admission tickets priced at $35 excluding fees, while the same ticket with a ‘fast pass’ for priority entry is $59 without fees.

For kids, children under six enter free, while children aged between six and 12 cost $19 before fees.

Families can also buy two adult and two children’s tickets for $99 (before fees), which includes the fast pass access.

The 2025 Melbourne Motor Show runs from 5 to 6 April, and will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC).
