A new 2025 Mercedes-AMG A45 S Limited Edition has gone on sale in Australia, with unique decals and Green Hell Magno matte paint derived from the GT R coupe.

The newest A-Class variant is priced from $128,400 before on-road costs – up $7000 from the regular AMG A45 S – and is available to order starting today, with yellow highlights on its wheels, and black body stripes.

Mercedes-AMG says only a select number of Limited Editions will be built, though when asked by Drive a spokesperson declined to confirm how many examples will be available in Australia.

Customers have the option to add a $3500 ‘aerodynamics’ package to the car, which includes a fixed AMG rear spoiler, a larger front splitter, front ‘aero’ flics, and a diffuser blade, all finished in high-gloss black.

It is available with $4600 front sports bucket seats trimmed in leather and microfibre, accented with yellow stitching.

In terms of cosmetics, buyers can option the limited-edition hatch with two Night Packages – the first adding black accents to the front splitter, side mirror housings as well as dark-tinted windows.

The Night Package II features “darkened details” on the grille, front wheel arches and tailgate badges, the grille-mounted and wheel hub Mercedes logos, as well as the door handles.

The Mercedes-AMG A45 S is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine producing 310kW and 500Nm.

The car maker claims the hot hatch is capable of a 0-100km/h sprint in 3.9 seconds, with a top speed of 270km/h.

According to the latest November 2024 sales data, Mercedes-Benz has reported as sold 1837 examples of its A-Class range so far this year, behind the GLA (2809) and GLE-Class wagon (1156).
