Prices for the 2025 Suzuki Jimny off-road SUV have increased in Australia, amid record deliveries.

Suzuki Australia has applied a price rise between $745 and $1345 across the Jimny line-up, except the base Jimny Lite three-door manual which continues to be offered at $34,990 drive-away.

It follows the brand’s switch to a nationwide drive-away offer for the Jimny in July 2024, which continues to be available – but now at a higher price – in all states and territories except Queensland and Northern NSW.

Until further notice, Suzuki Queensland – which imports Suzuki vehicles in Queensland and the Northern Rivers region of NSW separately to the national distributor – continues to offer the Jimny at the existing drive-away prices announced in July.

The Jimny three-door manual is now available from $37,835 drive-away while the three-door automatic costs $40,335, a $1345 increase.

XL five-door variants have increased by $745, at $40,235 for the manual and $42,735 for the automatic.

The Jimny XL Heritage special edition – limited to 500 examples – is no longer listed on the Suzuki Australia website.

Drive contacted Suzuki Australia for comment on the price increase but did not receive a response.

Suzuki has secured more production of the Jimny for the Australian market, which has enabled the off-road SUV to almost double its year-to-date sales compared to 2023 and break five monthly records in 2024 alone.

November 2024 was a record for Suzuki Jimny deliveries in Australia, breaking 1000 in a month for the first time with 1111 examples reported as delivered to customers – a 350 per cent increase over the same month in 2023.

Year-to-date, Suzuki has reported 9096 examples of the Jimny as sold, a 95 per cent increase.

The November 2024 result is the fifth time the SUV has set a sales record in 2024 alone, following best performances set in March, April, May and August.

“Whilst wait times still apply, we are consistently succeeding in securing greater production in 2024, which means more customers can get behind the wheel of their new Jimny sooner,” said Suzuki Australia’s automotive general manager Michael Pachota in July.
