Mazda has cut thousands of dollars from the usual drive-away pricing of its 2025-built CX-60 and CX-80 plug-in hybrids, with most grades now more affordable than their diesel counterparts.

National drive-away prices – still open to individual dealer negotiation – are listed on Mazda's website for the CX-60 P50e Pure, Evolve, Touring, GT and Azami, as well as the CX-80 P50e Touring, GT and Azami.

Starting from $56,990 drive-away, compared to its usual $63,290 RRP before on-road costs, the entry-level 2025 Mazda CX-60 P50e Pure plug-in hybrid is now cheaper than its D50e Pure inline-six diesel equivalent.

For context, with a Melbourne postcode, the CX-60 D50e Pure is listed on Mazda's online 'build and price' tool at $57,900 drive-away.

The CX-60 G25 Pure four-cylinder non-turbo and G40e Pure six-cylinder turbo petrol grades are also discounted nationally at $47,990 and $53,990, respectively – excluding WA, where all drive-away offers for the CX-60 and CX-80 are $1000 dearer.

The CX-60 P50e Evolve, P50 Touring, P50e GT and P50e Azami plug-in hybrids are listed at $62,990, $65,990, $71,990 and $76,990 drive-away, respectively, with all grades except the Azami undercutting their D50e diesel counterparts.

These grades usually retail for $68,290, $71,290, $77,290 and $81,490 – all before on-road costs – resulting in savings of around $10,000 across the board, when factoring in on-road costs.

Meanwhile, the CX-80 plug-in hybrid range starts from $69,990 drive-away for the P50e Touring, which is less than its $75,250 RRP, and cheaper than the D50 Touring's $70,370 drive-away result in Melbourne.

Similar to the CX-60, national drive-away pricing is also listed for the CX-80 P50e GT and P50e Azami plug-in hybrids, at $76,990 and $82,990, respectively.

The brand is also offering the inline-six turbo-petrol CX-80 G40e Pure at $56,990 and G40e GT at $72,990.

Australian new-car sales data reveals 1029 plug-in hybrid examples of the Mazda CX-60 were reported as sold last year, a 31 per cent decrease from 2024 and representing 19 per cent of its total sales.

The six- or seven-seat Mazda CX-80 plug-in hybrid recorded 971 sales in Australia in 2025, representing a stronger 25.2 per cent share of its total sales.

Other 2025 plate clearance deals from Mazda include the CX-3 G20 Pure from $32,990, CX-30 G20 Pure from $35,990, CX-5 G20 Maxx from $37,990, Mazda 2 G15 Evolve from $28,990 and Mazda 3 G20 Pure from $33,990 – all drive-away.

Run-out deals for Mazda BT-50 utes built earlier in 2025, before the introduction of a new 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine and an automatic stop-start system for 3.0-litre turbo-diesel variants, also remain available.
