Mitsubishi offering Triton drive-away deals, fuel cards for most models

The Mitsubishi Triton ute has moved to nationwide drive-away pricing in an end-of-year stock clearance offer.

Offering savings of up to $8000, the Mitsubishi ute is now available from $43,990 drive-away (private) or $42,990 (ABN) for the GLX two-wheel-drive dual-cab – ahead of the addition of more-affordable single-cab and extra-cab variants in 2025. 

It currently tops out at $65,990 (private) or $64,990 (ABN) for the top-of-the-line Triton GSR four-wheel-drive dual-cab. 

Until 31 December 2024, all Triton variants are offered with a $2500 fuel card, while the GLX, GLX+ and GLX-R are available with an additional $1000 loyalty bonus to customers who have been contacted by Mitsubishi Australia or a dealership.

The loyalty bonus increases to $2000 for Triton GLS and GSR variants – with the GSR available for as low as $62,990 drive-away for ABN holders who own another Mitsubishi vehicle. 

A Triton GSR usually retails for $63,840 before on-road costs, or around $68,000 to $70,000 drive-away depending on the state or territory of registration. 

Customers must supply proof of existing Mitsubishi vehicle ownership with matching details to their new Triton to qualify for the loyalty bonus.

2024 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport.

Across its wider line-up, Mitsubishi Australia is offering a $2500 fuel card for the Pajero Sport large SUV until 31 December 2024, while the Eclipse Cross small SUV and Outlander mid-size SUV receive a $1500 fuel card offer. 

Until April 2025 – unless extended – Mitsubishi Australia will provide a $1000 gift card to Holden owners trading in their old car for a new Mitsubishi, with at least 400 Holden vehicles swapped over since the promotion commenced in 2023.

New-car sales data reveals 68,793 Mitsubishi vehicles have been sold in Australia to the end of November 2024, an 18 per cent increase over the same time in 2023. 

2024 Mitsubishi Outlander.

The Outlander is the brand’s best-selling vehicle with 25,622 deliveries recorded year-to-date – making it Australia's second-most-popular SUV – followed by the Triton (16,422), ASX (11,325), Eclipse Cross (8632), and Pajero Sport (6792). 

Mitsubishi is the fifth highest car brand in Australia so far in 2024, behind Toyota (222,639), Ford (91,865), Mazda (88,731) and Kia (75,485), but ahead of Hyundai (66,639), MG (46,374), Isuzu Ute (44,614) and Nissan (41,060).
