A limited-edition, more luxurious, variant is being added to the Skoda Kamiq range, due to arrive locally in November this year.
A new range-topping variant is being added to the Skoda Kamiq line-up in the form of the limited-run 130 Years Edition, with prices starting from $44,990.
The new Kamiq grade, due locally in November 2025, will slot in above the Monte Carlo at the top of the range, adding a number of fresh exterior and interior styling changes, as well as increased levels of equipment for the higher asking price.
On the outside, the 130 Years Edition offers 19-inch Fornax silver alloy wheels, special 130 Years badging, chrome roof rails and window surrounds, tinted windows, and a powered tailgate.
Inside, the special edition gains more luxurious leather and Alcantara seat trim, a USB-C port near the auto-dimming rear-view mirror to connect a dashcam, heated rear outboard seats, and a 12V socket in the boot.
It offers a wireless phone charger, a heated steering wheel with paddles, heated front seats (shared with the Monte Carlo), and a power-adjusted driver’s seat with lumbar support and memory.
There are also a number of practical touches included on the 130 Years Edition in keeping with Skoda’s functional focus, including flip-out door protectors as seen on the new Kodiaq large SUV, and a net for the boot as found in the new electric Elroq SUV.
There is also a multifunction storage pocket, a double-sided luggage compartment mat, a rubbish bin in the front door panel, and a tablet bracket and removable storage box for rear occupants.
The 130 Years shares a 9.2-inch touchscreen and ambient lighting with the Monte Carlo, and also gains lane-centring assist, adaptive cruise control, and Park Assist as standard, which are usually included in the sports grade's $4200 optional Signature Pack.
Moon White, Graphite Grey, and Race Blue metallic paint choices, plus a Black Magic pearlescent hue, are all included in the asking price, with only Phoenix Orange and Velvet Red offered as $770 extras.
The limited-edition also shares its powertrain with the Monte Carlo, featuring a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol four-cylinder making 110kW/250Nm, with power sent to the front wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The lower grade Select, in comparison, uses a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine producing 85kW/200Nm, also with the seven-speed dual-clutch auto and front-wheel drive.
The Skoda Kamiq is backed by a seven-year/unlimited-kilometre warranty – one of the longest in the car industry, and the only European manufacturer offering seven years of coverage as standard, with servicing required every 12 months or 15,000km.
The 2025 Skoda Kamiq 130 Years Edition is available to order now, with deliveries expected to begin in November.
