Chinese electric vehicle brand XPeng has extended its free servicing deal for its inaugural model in Australia, the G6 mid-size SUV.

Until November 30, 2025, the 2025 XPeng G6 – which is expected to be replaced with an updated 2026 model in the coming months – will continue to be offered with five years of complimentary dealer servicing.

XPeng's Australian distributor TrueEV is also offering customers the choice of a further $3000 cashback or a 2.88 per cent finance rate throughout November.

The electric vehicle brand continues to offer a discount on its 10-year extended vehicle and battery warranties, which customers can add for $880, representing a claimed saving of $4100.

XPeng's standard warranty in Australia is five years or 120,000 kilometres, whichever occurs first, for the whole vehicle, and eight years or 160,000 kilometres for the high-voltage battery.

Currently, the 2025 XPeng G6 is priced from $54,800 before on-road costs for the Standard Range, and $59,800 for the Long Range

However, the G6 competes in the hotly contested mid-size electric SUV segment, which is led by the Tesla Model Y and BYD Sealion 7.

Expected in Australia in 2026, the updated XPeng G6 is anticipated to introduce a higher-capacity standard-range battery, a revised front-end design, a larger infotainment touchscreen, new cabin materials and reshaped front seats.

However, the Long Range has a smaller battery in Europe, resulting in a cut to its WLTP driving range rating.

XPeng is also set to launch its G9 large SUV and X9 people mover in Australia, however, it has not shared any additional information on the new models.
