The 2026 Mitsubishi Outlander LS Black Edition is due to arrive in showrooms in February, alongside a seven-seat variant of the base model for private buyers.

The special edition is priced at $47,990 before on-road costs, a $1450 increase over the standard LS variant, adding black styling accents and further interior features.

The exterior gains black roof rails, window trims, front grille, fog lamp surrounds, front and rear bumper highlights, 18-inch alloys, and side mirror caps, as well as a black contrast roof.

Heated seats, microsuede seat centres, synthetic leather-look seat bolsters and door trims, and a power-adjustable driver's seat, which are usually found in the higher-grade Aspire variant, will be offered as upgrades for the special edition.

The Black Edition is only available on the all-wheel-drive version of the Outlander LS.

The current-generation Mitsubishi Outlander has been onsale since 2021, with the LS black edition launched in 2022 but later removed ahead of the model’s mid-2025 facelift, and not available at the launch of the updated model.

The base model Outlander ES two-wheel drive gained a seven-seat option for private buyers. Previously only offered to Mitsubishi fleet buyers, it will be priced at $42,540 before on-road costs, carrying over the standard features offered on the five-seater ES.

The Mitsubishi Outlander is powered by a 135kW/245Nm 2.5-litre non-turbo four-cylinder petrol engine, matched to a continuously-variable automatic transmission with options of front or all-wheel drive.

The 2026 Mitsubishi Outlander LS Black Edition is set to return to showrooms in February.
