Updates to Honda’s medium SUVs are due in early 2026, so to clear stock the company is offering discounts on hybrid versions of the outgoing models.

The 2026 Honda CR-V and 2026 Honda ZR-V will arrive in Australia with a range of updates next year, but before the revised version arrive, Honda has entered runout mode on current stock.

Honda Australia is advertising discounts of $3000 on 2025 Model Year versions of the CR-V and ZR-V, but only for the flagship hybrid models.

The price of the ZR-V e:HEV LX moves from $54,900 down to $51,900 drive-away with the discount applied, while the CR-V e:HEV RS drops from $59,900 to $56,900.

The discount for the CR-V hybrid means that the e:HEV RS version now undercuts the non-hybrid CR-V VTI LX AWD, which keeps its $57,500 drive-away price.

The $3000 discount offer matches similar promotions Honda ran earlier in 2025, to clear Model Year 2024 stock.

Honda’s discount offer of the MY2025 CR-V and HR-V is available while stocks last.

At the same time, Honda is offering an extended eight-year, unlimited kilometre warranty and eight years roadside assist on all new HR-V, CR-V and ZR-V models purchased between December 1, 2025, and February 28, 2026.

The warranty offer is an upgrade to Honda’s usual five year warranty and roadside assist programs. For buyers of vehicles used commercially the warranty program runs for eight years with a 225,000km limit.

Again this offer is not unique, with Honda having offered a similar warranty extension on its SUV range earlier this year.

Although Honda has not yet confirmed the full extent of updates for the CR-V and ZR-V, the revised models are expected to see Honda’s hybrid powertrain available across a wider rage of variants.

Mirroring international markets, the CR-V hybrid is also expected to be made available with all-wheel drive for the first time in Australia, although this is still to be officially confirmed.

The infotainment systems of both models are also expected to receive upgrades, including Google built-in services like Google Assistant, Google Maps, and access to apps through the Google Play Store.

Full details of the revised range, including pricing and specifications, will be revealed closer to when the updated CR-V and ZR-V arrive in Australia.
