The electric Skoda Peaq will become the Czech brand’s new flagship seven-seater, bringing the Vision 7S concept into production when it is unveiled globally in mid-2026.

It is set to be priced above the Skoda’s smaller electric Enyaq, which comes in SUV and coupe SUV variants, with a price range from $55,990 to $68,990.

The Peaq is the production version of the Vision 7S concept, revealed in 2022, which Skoda claimed could offer more than 600km of driving range from its 89kWh battery.

The Vision 7S concept seats occupants in a two-two-three configuration, with rear-hinged back doors likely to be replaced by conventional units for production.

The interior of the concept was fitted with an 8.8-inch digital instrument display and a 14.6-inch touchscreen that rotated horizontally or vertically, whether the car was in “Drive” or “Relaxation” mode.

The Peaq may be one of the last Skoda models to be built on Volkswagen’s MEB electric platform, currently used as a base for the Enyaq and Elroq models.

An Australian release date and full specifications are yet to be confirmed, with Skoda to release more details in line with the vehicle's world premiere due in the middle of the year.
