Price rises for 2026 have pushed the most expensive Toyota Prado into six figures before on-road costs for the first time, and its biggest sibling up by $1000.

Prices across the Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series and Prado four-wheel-drive line-ups in Australia have increased by up to $1000 for 2026.
It is the first price increase for the latest-generation LandCruiser Prado since it arrived in local showrooms in late 2024, and pushes the flagship Kakadu over $100,000 before on-road costs for the first time.
All Toyota Prado variants have increased in RRP by $700, with the entry-level, five-seat GX now priced from $73,200 before on-road costs.
Meanwhile, the LandCruiser 300 Series line-up has climbed by $1000, to between $99,340 before on-roads for the base GX, and $147,910 for the top-of-the-range Sahara ZX.
An even more expensive 300 Series Hybrid is due by the middle of this year, with a 3.4-litre twin-turbo petrol V6 and single electric motor in place of the current 3.3-litre twin-turbo diesel V6.
The latest price rises mean the 300 Series is now between $9120 and $10,030 dearer than it was at launch in mid-2021, though it has gained technology and convenience features in that time to help offset the increases.
It is understood that there are no specification changes directly associated with the price rises, which applies to orders placed from January 1, 2026.
"Toyota is committed to keeping price increases to a minimum. These changes came into effect recently due to increased costs and inflationary pressures both here and overseas," a Toyota Australia spokesperson told Drive.
