 Limited-edition returns to Australia

The Ford Everest Wildtrak limited-edition has returned to Australia, with a revised design and more standard features, including matrix headlights borrowed from the range-topping Platinum.

Set to commence production next month, the 2026 Ford Everest Wildtrak follows its Ranger ute sibling in gaining more orange accents for the latest model, including a new Ignite Orange hero colour.

Ford Australia said the newest edition of the Everest Wildtrak – joining the updated Model Year 2026.5 Everest line-up, now arriving in showrooms – will be limited to "approximately" 1000 examples.

Priced from $79,990 before on-road costs, the 2026.5 model is $3040 dearer than the 2025 version, and equivalent to the Everest Tremor, which has fewer standard features but a greater off-road focus, including all-terrain tyres and Bilstein suspension.

 Limited-edition returns to Australia

Compared with the pre-update Everest Wildtrak last offered at the start of 2025, the new model also introduces a gloss-black front bumper and roof rails, black wheels with an orange accent, and 'Ignite Orange' stitching for its part-leather upholstery.

The Ignite Orange hero colour replaces the outgoing Luxe Yellow finish.

Standard features build upon the Everest Sport, gaining matrix LED headlights with auto levelling and auto high-beam – new to the 2026 Wildtrak – a panoramic sunroof, ambient interior lighting and power-folding third-row seats, all usually reserved for the Platinum.

Customers can select 18-inch alloy wheels with all-terrain tyres as a no cost option, still finished in black with an orange accent.

Extra-cost options include premium paint for $750, and the Premium Towing Pack for $2500, which adds a tow bar, an integrated trailer brake controller and the Pro Trailer Backup Assist reversing feature.

The Everest Wildtrak continues to feature a 184kW/600Nm 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 diesel engine matched with a 10-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel-drive with 4A mode.

For Model Year 2026.5, the bi-turbo four-cylinder diesel have been axed from the Everest and the Ranger, and the Everest Ambiente and Trend are combined into a new Active grade, now with a V6 option.

 Limited-edition returns to Australia

Replacing outgoing bi-turbo grades, the Everest also introduces the 2.0-litre single-turbo four-cylinder diesel for the first time in Australia, with 125kW and 405Nm – down from 154kW/500Nm in the bi-turbo.

The 2026 Ford Everest Wildtrak limited-edition is available to order now, ahead of Australian customer deliveries in the coming months.
