A new entry-level version of the JAC T9 is now available, launching with more than $5000 off in some states.
The 2026 JAC T9 Tradepro cab-chassis is now on sale in Australia from $38,990 plus on-road costs, as the entry-level version of the Chinese ute.
It will launch with a special offer for eligible ABN holders of $40,990 drive-away with a free alloy tray, a saving of about $4000 to $5000, depending on the state of registration – excluding the value of the tray.
The new base-model T9 Tradepro cab-chassis is sold with four-wheel drive and a locking rear differential.
Powering the T9 Tradepro is a 2.0-litre turbo diesel four-cylinder producing 125kW and 410Nm, matched to an eight-speed automatic transmission for a 7.6L/100km claimed fuel consumption figure and 3200kg braked towing capacity.
Cab-chassis utes allow buyers to more easily fit a steel or alloy tray without the cost of buying and removing the tub on a traditional pick-up.
LED headlights and 18-inch steel wheels are standard on the outside, while inside there is a 10.4-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, and keyless entry and start.
Standard safety features include lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear collision warnings, traffic sign recognition, a driver monitoring system, autonomous emergency braking (AEB), and adaptive cruise control.
The 2026 JAC T9 Tradepro arrives in showrooms this month.
