Renault's top seller in Australia is the Master full-size van – and there's an all-new model around the corner, with or without liquid fuel power.

The next generation of Renault's top-selling model in Australia, the Master van, is due in showrooms in June 2026 with a choice of diesel and electric power.
Australia will receive the all-new Master two and a half years after it was revealed in Europe, as the first generational change for the LDV Deliver 9 competitor since 2010.
Prices are yet to be confirmed, but increases are expected over the current $55,200 plus on-road costs starting RRP to account for improvements in technology, performance, safety and practicality.
The 2.0-litre turbo-diesel four-cylinder engine will be upgraded to produce 125kW/380Nm – up from 120kW/360Nm today – paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission, replacing a single-clutch automated manual gearbox.
It will now require AdBlue, an emissions-reducing liquid exhaust additive which, in a Ford Transit, is stored in a dedicated 21-litre tank requiring a refill every 9000km to 11,000km, depending on how the van is driven.
An electric Master E-Tech will be offered for the first time, powered by a 87kWh battery pack rated to deliver for "more than 400km" of driving range in European WLTP testing, and capable of DC fast charging at up to 130kW.
Buyers of the new Master will be able to select mid- and long-wheelbase footprints with mid-roof or high-roof bodies, deleting the 'Extra' long-wheelbase version currently available.
Renault says the new Master's side door is large enough to fit a forklift with a pallet, and the bulkhead behind the front seats is flat for improved load space.
Diesel versions will quote a payload of up to 1973kg, and a Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) of up to 4000kg, while electric models will claim up to 1164kg in payload and up to 3500kg in GVM.
The Master's new interior features a 10-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto – alongside retained physical air-conditioning controls – while the gear selector moves to a steering-column stalk.
The middle of the three front seats can be optioned with a fold-down workstation.
Renault says the Master is one of six new models due in 18 months, a tally that also includes the Scenic E-Tech electric SUV launched in recent weeks, and the Duster small SUV introduced last year.
