Subaru Australia has launched another WRX Club Spec limited edition, two years after the last model, as it celebrates 60,000 sales of the all-wheel-drive turbocharged small car since it arrived locally in 1994.

The 2026 Subaru WRX AWD Club Spec Evo builds on the manual-only tS Spec B grade launched in 2025 and will be limited to 75 units in Australia, with a badge inside each car denoting its production number, and a yellow theme inside and out.

Priced from $63,190 before on-road costs – $1000 more than the tS Spec B – the Club Spec Evo is exclusively finished in the Sunrise Yellow exterior colour, shared with the 95-unit BRZ Kiiro limited-edition launched in Australia earlier this year.

It also features a matte black 19-inch wheel design, instead of the Spec B's matte grey, a 'Club Spec Evo' rear door decal, yellow and black Recaro sports bucket seats with yellow stitching, and yellow contrast stitching on its instrument panel, door panel and centre console front section.

Subaru Australia has confirmed the STI Performance Mufflers offered as a no-cost option for the tS Spec B will also be available for the Club Spec Evo.

Subaru Australia general manager Scott Lawrence said the latest WRX limited-edition is a celebration of the nameplate's heritage.

"With a manual-only configuration, exclusive Sunrise Yellow finish and distinctive design details, it’s a special model created for the enthusiasts who have loved and supported WRX for generations," Lawrence said.

For 2026, Subaru Australia has also axed the entry-level WRX AWD Sportswagon grade, with the body style now available only in the dearer AWD GT and AWD tS grades.

Pricing for carryover sedan and wagon 2026 WRX grades has increased by $700, following increases of between $500 and $3500 nearly 12 months ago, when it received a specification update in Australia.
