Kia Australia will tip in up to $3000 as a contribution bonus for its Kia Finance customers on a range of models including the just-launched Tasman ute.

Ostensibly, the contribution bonus equates to a saving off the asking price of the model, with the largest figure attached to the K4 small sedan that launched earlier this year.

Sorento GT-Line and Sport+ buyers meanwhile, will receives a $2000 contribution bonus, while EV3 electric car buyers will see a $1000 subsidy.

Most curious of all however, is the $2000 deposit contribution to the just-launched Tasman X-Line and X-Pro, or $1000 off for the S, SX, and SX+ grades when buying the ute through Kia Finance.

Kia Australia launched its Finance business in June, partnering with Hyundai Capital Australia that also oversaw the introduction of Hyundai Finance in November, 2024.

The finance product is available in select dealerships around Australia, and offers Guaranteed Future Value (GFV) and is available to personal and business customers – though the aforementioned offers are only open to private buyers.

The finance deals are only applicable to finance applicants received before August 31, and settled by September 9.

Kia’s Tasman only hit showrooms last month, priced from $38,010 before on-road costs for the S 4x2 single-cab chassis, and topping out at $74,990 for the X-Pro 4x4 dual-cab pick-up.

Kia Australia is targeting 20,000 annual sales for its Tasman pick-up, and competes against the top-selling Ford Ranger, Toyota HiLux, and Isuzu D-Max.
