The 2025 Skoda Octavia line-up is now complete with confirmation a facelifted mid-spec Sportline trim level will join the range in Australia.
Priced from $46,490 drive-away for the liftback sedan and $47,990 drive-away for the station wagon, the new MY25 represents an increase of $4000 over the outgoing model. However, to explain the price rise, Skoda has fitted as standard equipment features previously part of costly option packs.
The facelifted Sportline gains new matrix LED headlights, new tail-light graphics, restyled front and rear bumpers, new 19-inch alloys while the biggest change in the cabin is the addition of a new 13-inch infotainment touchscreen, replacing the older model’s 10-inch unit.

Metallic paint, previously a $770 option, is now included as standard (except for Velvet Red which still attracts a $770 premium) while wireless phone charging has been beefed up to 15W and with active ventilation that helps to keep smartphones cool while charging.
Distinguishing the Sportline from the entry-level Select is a swathe of black exterior elements including on the front spoiler, the grille surround, wing mirrors window surrounds and a rear spoiler.
Interior enhancements for the Sportline variants include stainless steel pedal covers, carbon-look dash and door trims, and diamond-stitched fabric and leatherette seat upholstery with heated front seats.
Powering the Sportline is the same 1.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine making the same 110kW and 250Nm as the entry-level Select. An eight-speed torque converter automatic transmission sends drive to the front wheels.
There are no longer any option packs, in line with other updated Skoda cars in Australia.
