Honda Australia has ended its eight-year/unlimited-kilometre warranty offer for its CR-V, ZR-V and HR-V SUVs, replacing it with free services.

From October 1, 2025, to November 28, 2025, unless extended, Honda will offer customers of its CR-V, ZR-V, and HR-V five free services, valued at $199 each, totalling $995.

The CR-V, ZR-V and HR-V revert to Honda's standard five-star/unlimited-kilometre warranty.

However, owners can still get an eight-year warranty by continuing to service with Honda, as its Honda Extend program allows for up to eight years of coverage, extending for another 12 months with each service.

Honda said the free service deal is only valid for new vehicles, not demonstrators, and does not include any additional maintenance work or items beyond what is needed for the relevant time/kilometre interval.

Along with the free services, the brand is also offering discounts for some CR-V and ZR-V variants as it works to clear stock built in 2024 and 2025, including the CR-V e:HEV RS and ZR-V e:HEV LX hybrids.

VFACTS new-car sales data shows 1196 Honda vehicles were reported as sold in Australia last month, up 32 per cent from 903 in September 2024, while year-to-date, it has delivered 11,607 cars, one more than last year.

The five- or seven-seat CR-V is its best-selling model year-to-date (4337), followed by the HR-V (3713), ZR-V (2837), Civic (642) and Accord (78).
