The 2024 model-year D-Max is being offered with reduced pricing on several models, with the former special edition 4x4 X-Rider added to the drive-away deals.
The 2024 model-year Isuzu D-Max 4x4 X-Rider automatic dual-cab ute has been added to the D-Max 2024-plate deals with a $56,990 drive-away price across its national dealer network, a saving of more than $2500 over the standard list price until 31 March 2025 – or until stocks run out.
The standard $59,500 list price doesn’t include on-road costs – which stretches the total purchase price to around $64,000 – making the $56,990 drive-away price even more attractive.
In addition, the offer includes five years/7500km of ‘flat price’ servicing (if carried out at an authorised Isuzu service centre), a six-year warranty and seven years of roadside assistance, also contingent on servicing at an authorised Isuzu centre.
The D-Max 4x4 X-Rider became part of the line-up last year after the badge was previously used on special edition versions of the D-Max, the 2024 model year X-Rider based on the mid-spec D-Max LS-M 4x4 crew cab.
A rival to the Ford Ranger Black Edition and Mitsubishi Triton GLS, the D-Max 4x4 X-Rider comes with a 140kW/450Nm 3.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine and six-speed automatic transmission, with an official braked towing rating of 3500kg.
Standard features include LED headlights, black cloth seat trim, 8.0-inch infotainment screen, four-speaker stereo, rain-sensing wipers, adaptive cruise control, rear differential lock and a damped tailgate.
The X-Rider’s ‘black pack’ exterior treatment sees a black and grey front-grille and front bumper add-on, mirror caps, door handles, 17-inch gloss black alloy wheels with all-terrain tyres, rear-step bumper and a soft tonneau with a black sports bar.
The X-Rider joins existing deals which include the 2024 model year D-Max 4x4 X-Terrain dual-cab automatic at a drive-away price of $67,990 – the same as its list price, effectively meaning a discount equivalent to on-road costs.
Above the X-Rider, the X-Terrain includes bigger 18-inch alloys, an inch-larger 9.0-inch interior display with red seat stitching setting it apart, with the same 3.0-litre turbo-diesel and 3500kg towing.
It also includes the servicing and warranty offered with the 2024 model year X-Rider.
At the 'work' end of the range, the 2024 D-Max 4x2 SX single cab-chassis with the smaller 1.9-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel and six-speed manual transmission is available for $32,990 drive-away compared to its list price of $32,700 plus on-road costs.
Isuzu Trucks Australia posted record sales in 2024 with only two models – the D-Max pick-up and its MU-X SUV spin-off – with the D-Max outsold only by the top-selling Ford Ranger and Toyota HiLux.
