Last chance for $3000 off JAC T9 dual-cab ute

This weekend is the final chance for JAC buyers in Australia to take advantage of a pair of promotional offers with $3000 off the list price of its new T9 dual-cab ute.

The Chinese car maker is offering $3000 off for ‘first-time ute buyers’ to the brand, bringing the list price of the already sub-$50k T9 Oasis down to $39,662 before on-road costs at its more-than-60 dealers across the country.

A second offer – which cannot be combined with the first – gives customers an automatic $3000 trade-in bonus when buying the Ford Ranger and Toyota HiLux alternative.

Both T9 Oasis and T9 Havens come standard with a 120kW/410Nm 2.0-litre turbo-diesel and eight-speed automatic, part-time four-wheel drive with rear differential lock, 1045kg payload and 3200kg towing capacity.

The T9 also comes with a standard sports bar, ‘rockrail’ sidesteps and a spray-in bedliner with the tub able to accommodate a full-size Australian- palette.

Inside, there’s a 7.0-inch instrument cluster, a 10.4-inch infotainment centre screen with a reversing camera and rear parking sensors, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity with wireless phone charging, and a chilled centre console.

The T9 Oasis has black leather-accented seats, while the T9 Haven has quilted leather-accented trim in a choice of black or dark brown with heated front seats.

The T9 Haven also adds a 360-degree camera, rear 220V outlet privacy glass as well as body-coloured auto-folding mirrors (instead of manual-folding chrome) and a unique 18-inch wheel alloy wheel design.

JAC also offers a standard seven-year, unlimited kilometre warranty with seven years roadside assistance and seven years of capped price servicing.

The global reveal of the JAC Hunter PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Vehicle), targeting the BYD Shark 6 PHEV, took place at the 2025 Melbourne Motor Show in April ahead of its planned arrival in local showrooms in early 2026.
