Chinese ‘new energy’ brand, Leapmotor, has rolled out a summer discount program that pairs a discounted price with factory bonus offers.

Pricing for the entry-level Leapmotor C10 REEV Style starts from $44,990 drive-away, making the car $1000 less than its introductory drive-away offer.

The C10 REEV Design also gets a discounted drive-away price, dropping from its introductory price of $49,990 drive-away, down to $47,990 drive-away during the promotional offer.

Regular non-promotional pricing for the C10 REEV sees the Style priced from $43,888 plus on-road costs, and the Design priced at $45,888 before on-road costs.

Both models are available with a ‘summer bonus’ providing a further $2000 discount in addition to the already-reduced pricing.

The Leapmotor C10 EV range also receives discounts during the promotion.

The Leapmotor C10 Design EV moves from its regular $45,888 plus on-road costs price to $47,990 drive-away, a saving of almost $1750 over regular retail in Victoria, once on-road costs are added.

The flagship C10 Design EV, normally priced at $49,888 plus on-road costs, moves to a drive-away price of $50,990, amounting to just over $2900 for a Victorian-registered vehicle. Calculated savings may vary by location.

Despite the $50,990 drive-away price posted on Leapmotor’s offers page, Leapmotor's website lists a lower-still drive-away price of $49,888 for the C10 Design EV.

In addition to the drive-away pricing, the summer bonus program also extends to the electric model, resulting in a further $3000 discount on the C10 Style EV and $4000 off the C10 Design EV.

This offer pricing applies to 2025 C10s purchased and delivered before March 31, 2026 and excludes government and rental buyers. Pricing is for Pearl White vehicles with optional paint and accessories available at additional cost.

Leapmotor delivered 579 C10s in 2025, its first full year on sale, with the C10 REEV arriving midway through the year.

Chinese rivals did better with the petrol and plug-in hybrid Chery Tiggo recording 5681 sales, the Geely EX5 EV counting 3944 sales and the Starray EM-i PHEV adding 1066 units. The Deepal S07 fared worse, however, with 287 sales.

Australia’s most popular medium SUV under $60,000, the Toyota RAV4 recorded 51,947 sales, and the most popular EV and PHEV models in the class came from BYD with the Sealion 7 EV recording 13,410 sales and the Sealion 6 PHEV adding 9055 sales.
