Mazda M-Event offers $1500 price cuts

Mazda is holding its annual M-Event from February 9-16, 2025, with prices cut between $500 and $1500 across a range of eligible 2024-build vehicles.

“We’ve seen the Mazda M Event grow exponentially in popularity in recent years thanks to a broader range of Mazda models being available with some exceptionally compelling offers,” Jarrod Gieschen, Director of Sales and Marketing at Mazda Australia, told Drive.  

“This is evident in our recent sales figures, which reflect the appetite of customers to take advantage of some great value-for-money deals.”

The saving is even bigger for the 2024 BT-50 as the updated model, which landed in January, came with higher prices and a pared down line-up.

The most popular model in its Australian showrooms, the Mazda CX-5 family SUV, has a $750 bonus applied for eligible models during the M Event sale.

The CX-60 – due for a mid-year update in 2025 – CX-80 and CX-90 SUVs also have the same $750 bonus as the CX-5.

An electric replacement for Mazda 6 sedan and wagon, the Mazda 6e, is offered in right-hand drive in the United Kingdom after its initial launch in China last year but has not been confirmed – nor ruled out – for Australia.

A $500 discount applies to the Mazda CX-3 small SUV – the second-most popular Mazda behind the CX-5 – as well as the CX-30 SUV, Mazda 2 hatch/sedan and Mazda 3 hatch/sedan.

The Mazda MX-5 sports car also receives a $500 bonus for the eight-day event.
