Nissan raises prices for most models in Australia

The costs of seven Nissan models have increased by up to $520 in Australia – but the brand continues to offer incentives across its most popular vehicles, which could save customers thousands.

Recommended retail prices for the Nissan Juke, Qashqai, X-Trail, Pathfinder, Patrol, Navara and Z have risen in Australia, while the cost of remaining stock of the Leaf electric car – which ended production 12 months ago ahead of an all-new model – remains unchanged.

A Nissan Australia spokesperson told Drive "like many others in the industry", the brand applied a "minor price rise" between $275 and $520 across most of its line-up from Wednesday January 1, 2025.

It coincides with the introduction of a service-activated 10-year/300,000-kilometre warranty for Nissan vehicles sold in Australia, which applies from Wednesday January 1, 2025, but has been backdated for vehicles serviced within the Nissan dealer network sold from Friday January 1, 2021.

However the price increases are offset by cashback incentives for the current Juke, X-Trail and Navara, along with the soon-to-be-updated Qashqai.

The largest cashback incentive applies to the Nissan Navara Black Edition dual-cab 4WD automatic, which is currently offered with $8000 off to take its national drive-away price to $54,490 drive-away compared to its usual $60,833 recommended retail price before on-road costs.

The Navara SL dual-cab 4WD automatic, the front- and all-wheel-drive X-Trail N-Trek, and the outgoing Model Year 2024 Qashqai line-up receive $5000 off, while between $4000 and $4500 cashback is available for the rest of the X-Trail range and the Navara ST, ST-X and Pro-4X.

Updated versions of the Nissan Juke are currently available with a $1000 cashback incentive following its late-2024 launch, while offers are listed for the Pathfinder, Patrol and Z when financed using Nissan's in-house service.

Nissan continues to offer the Leaf electric hatch for $34,990 drive-away for the standard range and $44,990 for the e+ extended range to clear final stocks ahead of a yet-to-be-revealed new-generation model, down from $50,990 and $61,490 before on-road costs, respectively.

The offers apply to new vehicles purchased by Friday February 28, 2025, "unless extended or varied".
