The entire Suzuki Jimny 4WD range has gone on special for the first time since the current generation launched in 2019 after years of stock shortages.

It is only a limited-time special – applicable to new and demonstrator vehicles in stock purchased by Friday 29 November, and delivered by 30 November – but buyers can save up to $3949, including on the newly-launched Jimny XL five-door.

Marketed as a Black Friday promotion, Suzuki Australia is offering 10 per cent off all new and demo vehicles in dealer stock – from the cheapest Ignis to the flagship Swift Sport hot hatch.

The discounts are not available in Queensland and far-north New South Wales, where Suzuki cars are sold by a different distributor than the rest of the country.

The promotion brings Jimny prices down to their lowest level in about three years, when the three-door automatic – now $35,091 drive-away – was $29,990 plus on-road costs, or close to $35,000 drive-away.

After the Jimny line-up faced stock shortages since the latest model launched in 2019 – made worse by COVID-19 production slowdowns – wait times have eased in recent months.

Order books for the three-door auto were closed for most of 2023 due to wait times stretching beyond 18 months; in June 2024, the same version was available to order with a six- to eight-month wait.

These prices launched by Suzuki Australia were initially not matched by the Suzuki Queensland distributor, but have since been introduced, and now apply across the country.

While specific dealers have offered promotions in the past six years, the 2024 Black Friday offer is the first range-wide Jimny deal marketed by Suzuki Australia since the current generation launched in January 2019.

The latest discounts for the Suzuki Jimny – as well as the rest of the Suzuki Australia range – are listed below. All prices shown are drive-away, including on-road costs, and apply while stocks last.
