Cars are woven into our daily lives and culture, making it no surprise that people actively consume and engage with car content every day.
It's also no surprise that many of our top posts on Instagram featured Australia's favourite vehicle type: utes. In fact, our top three posts related to the ever-popular Toyota HiLux and Ford Ranger.

1. Toyota HiLux prepares for war with Australian-built military conversion
In September, a new military vehicle based on the Toyota HiLux was unveiled to the global defence community. Dubbed the Supacat Medium Utility Vehicle Hi-Load – or MUV, the conversion is six-wheel drive, and boasts a payload of up to 3000kg.
