Big on space and safety credentials, the seven-seat Volvo XC90 ups its value game with a low-rate finance offer in runout.
Family Cars
Volvo’s family flagship, the seven-seat XC90 SUV, is now in runout ahead of a significant update due next year, and the Swedish brand is offering low-interest, guaranteed future-value finance on new MY24 XC90s to help encourage buyers.

Volvo Car Australia is offering buyers a 3.99 per cent comparison rate (lower than the current 4.35 per cent RBA cash-rate) on a new Volvo XC90 ordered before 31 December 2024. The offer includes a guaranteed future value agreement for the end of the loan with specific deposit, term and finance details available on the Volvo website.
As with all finance offers, Drive recommends consulting with your financial planner or accountant to ascertain whether the offer and conditions are suitable for your personal circumstances.
The current second-generation Volvo XC90 has been on sale since 2015, at which time it pioneered some driver assistance and safety technology, including run-off-road pre-emptive collision protection and autonomous emergency braking (AEB) with junction assist. When launched, the XC90 was awarded a five-star ANCAP safety rating, which although currently expired (ratings only last six years), still shows the car’s 97 per cent adult and 87 per cent child occupant protection scores.
Sales of XC90 models have maintained an average of around 100 vehicles per month over the past six years, peaking at annual sales of 1323 in 2021. So far this year 724 Volvo XC90s have been sold as the car heads into a runout phase. The updated XC90 is expected to commence production later this year.

New 2024 Volvo XC90 models are available in a choice of seven colours (black, blue, dark grey, silver, champagne, light grey or white) with three leather interior options (black, tan or white) plus a wool-blend trim on the T8 PHEV.
There are a range of options (air suspension, panoramic sunroof, massage function etc) but we always recommend the Bowers & Wilkins sound system upgrade ($2098) on any Volvo.
